Non-Tenure Track Online Faculty Position, Emerging Technology

Description The College of Emerging and Collaborative Studies (CECS) at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK) seeks a dynamic, collaborative, and innovative non-tenure track faculty member to create and provide instruction in a fully online program for its Professional Advancement Through Hands (PATH) Learning Certificate and related offerings. CECS has a position open for non-tenure track, twelve-month, one-year appointment to begin as soon as possible, with a targeted start no later than January 2026. There is a possibility of renewal. Consistent with the mission of the University, the selected candidate will be responsible for teaching and service. Teaching assignments within the College will be made by the Dean according to the demands of enrollment and scheduling. The primary teaching responsibilities will include the development and instruction of online asynchronous courses in undergraduate applied PATH courses, including the industry co-lab, industry action lab, as well as research, service, and internship courses as needed.
