Job description

Summary: The Building and Grounds Technician I performs routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on agency buildings, grounds, vehicles, furniture, equipment, and mechanical systems for an agency that supports children, adolescents, and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). The technician ensures all work is performed in accordance with OSHA safety regulations and the standards set forth by agency policy, licensing bodies, and accrediting agencies. This role supports the safe, clean, and efficient operation of agency facilities while modeling professionalism and positive interactions with staff, residents, and program participants. Work Schedule: Adelbrook is a 24/7 operating Agency. Schedules are flexible, may include early mornings, evenings, overnights, weekdays, weekends, holidays, mandated overtime, mandated holds, and on call responsibilities.
