Now, we're seeking Full-Time Code Enforcement Officers in the Bowman, SC area to help ensure safe, vibrant, and thriving communities. What you'll do: - Patrol assigned areas with the team and monitor vendor activity for compliance with city/county codes. - Educate vendors on permit requirements and applicable regulations. - Issue warnings, notices of violation, and citations as appropriate. - Respond to community complaints regarding vendor activity in a professional manner. - Document inspections and enforcement actions, including reports and photos. - Collaborate with teammates, local law enforcement, health departments, and city officials as needed. What we're looking for: - 2+ years of experience in Code Enforcement or Law Enforcement. - Certification as a Code Enforcement Officer (or ability to obtain). - PC 832 (or equivalent law enforcement certification). - Strong communication skills (oral & written). - Ability to work in the fie...
