Posting Reason: New Position Location: Main Campus Academic Period: 2027 Winter Semester Faculty: Section de Common Law / Common Law Section Academic Unit: Common law \\ Common Law Course Title: CML4111 Course Code: Studies in Criminal Law: Advanced Evidence Section: M00 Course Description: This seminar explores, in-depth, the application of the law of evidence in the criminal trial context. In-class learning will be conducted on the "flipped classroom" model. Students will be provided with audio-visual lectures prior to each class. In class, students will be paired up and will debate and examine various evidentiary issues and their application to fact scenarios. This course builds on the theoretical knowledge gained by the students in the Law of Evidence course and equips them to apply those principles in a practical, criminal law context.
