Description: *In-plant role - See client specific information below in Job Requirements. This position is in the Mont Belvue, Texas area, and qualified candidates must have experience with Excel and a strong attention to detail. Summary of Description: The planning and controlling of all necessary efforts to ensure equipment and materials are correctly specified, obtained at a competitive cost, stored in a safe and organized manner, available at the proper time to support the work schedule. Duties: - Expedite company-issued purchase orders to ensure delivery dates comply with construction schedule requirements through telephone calls and possibly vendor plant visits. - Determine materials that may be “long lead materials” (taking 6 weeks or longer for delivery and materials that may not meet the standard delivery requirements). - Maintain current status records on all purchase orders. - Compare bill of material to A/E drawings to determine receipt/non-receipt of item(s) onsite, identify new materials required when revisions are made and identify critical items. - Maintain equipment/materials/parts lists (i.e., valve or instrument lists) showing additions, deletions, receipt and iss...
