Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Junior IT Shipping Specialist to support logistics and asset management activities for TSA devices. This role is ideal for an early-career professional looking to build hands-on experience in IT operations, inventory management, and equipment deployment within a mission-driven environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring IT equipment is properly prepared, tested, tracked, and delivered to support operational readiness. Location: Springfield, VA (On-site): Hours : Will be required to work M-F 7:30am to 3:30pm on site at the warehouse. Key Responsibilities: - Process and fulfill requests for IT equipment including laptops, desktops, VOIP devices, peripherals, UPS, switches, and servers - Review and validate equipment requests to ensure accuracy and complete shipping details - Support requests from internal systems and portals (e.g., Field Equipment Portal and iShare) - Identify, pull, and inspect equipment to meet fulfillment requirements - Perform equipment testing and evaluation using standard checklists to ensure operational readiness - Image PCs, servers, and other applicable devices as required - Accura...
