Infection Prevention and Control Lead Albyn Hospital 15 Hours & 12 Month Fixed Term Salary: Up to £48,750.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification) Albyn Hospital in Aberdeen is part of Circle Health Group , Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for an Infection Prevention and Control Lead to join their team of staff in the nursing department. This is a part- time role for 15 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. Duties of this role include: Lead on the implementation and monitoring of the hospital’s infection prevention and control strategy. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and guidance (e.g. CQC, HIS, HTM 01-05, and national IPC standards). Oversee surveillance of healthcare-associated infections, antibiotic resistance, and outbreaks.
