Employment Type: Full time Shift: Night Shift Description: as job description describes. $20K Sign on Bonus for this Full Time position Job Description: This position will be in our Free Standing Emergency Room located in Deerfield Beach 340 S Federal Highway, Deerfield Beach, FL, 33441 A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) helps patients with breathing problems, from premature babies to the elderly, by diagnosing, treating, and managing lung conditions like asthma, COPD, or cystic fibrosis , using diagnostic tests , oxygen therapy , mechanical ventilation , and airway clearance techniques , working with doctors to create treatment plans and educate patients on managing their respiratory health. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: - Performs Emergency room therapies and oxygen administration following proper policy and procedure. - Performs or assists with endotracheal intubation as indicated in a safe manner - Performs endotracheal extubation as indicated in a safe manner. - Maintains clinical competency for mechanical ventilation in adult, pediatric and newborns. - Able to perform arterial blood gas draws and analyze in a safe and effective manner from radial, brachial a...
