Assistant Press Operator Location: Lenexa, KS: Shift: 2nd Shift Schedule: 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m., Monday-Friday About the Opportunity: We are seeking a dependable and motivated Press Assistant to join our flexible packaging manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll work alongside a Press Operator to help prepare, run, and maintain high‑speed printing equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills in a stable, team‑oriented, and fast‑paced production environment. What You Will Do: - Assist the Press Operator with preparing the press and all job‑related materials - Monitor and adjust inks as needed, including checking ink viscosity on an hourly basis - Remove finished film from the machine and stage it on pallets for pickup - Retrieve and return inks to the ink room and clean machine components between jobs - Handle and manage hazardous waste in compliance with safety and environmental requirements - Follow all safety guidelines, wear required PPE, and meet OSHA standards - Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment - Complete rework tasks as needed What You Have to Offer: - Ability to read a measuring tape - Strong desire to learn and...
