Quality Engineer

Job Description: JOB SUMMARY This role supports APQP activities, develops and maintains PFMEAs, Control Plans, and Work Instructions, and manages the PPAP submission process. The Quality Engineer investigates non-conformances, leads corrective actions, and identifies opportunities for process improvements to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and customer-specific requirements. Additional responsibilities include monitoring supplier performance, supporting internal and supplier audits, and partnering with production, engineering, suppliers, and customers to maintain product reliability, reduce defects, and support continuous improvement. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: - Strong communication skills with customers, suppliers, and all levels of the organization. - Effective problem-solving skills using 8D and 5-Why methodologies. - Solid organizational and project management skills with the ability to work independently. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). - Experience in high-volume manufacturing (automotive or industrial preferred; OEM experience a plus). - Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles. - Ability to prepare and present...
