Production Control Clerk - Day Shift

Job description

Basic Function: The Production Control Clerk will be responsible for performing clerical and physical tasks by shipping goods and receiving incoming shipments. They must prepare products for shipment, verify incoming shipments are received as ordered, and route them to the appropriate departments. Loads and unloads trucks, maintains their area, prepares shipping documents, and maintains records on all incoming and outgoing shipments. Specific duties include: · Handle and manage incoming shipments of goods and materials received. · Perform and execute unloading and storage or distribution of goods/materials received. · Inspect and verify the condition of the goods/materials received. · Count and verify received goods/materials. · Communicate discrepancies in goods/materials received to the manager. · Perform and manage the administrative functions of goods/materials received. · Prepare goods and/or materials for outgoing shipment. · Prepare all shipping documentation, labels, etc. for outgoing shipments. · Reports any incidents or unsafe conditions immediately. · Ensure all safety controls are in place. · Ensure compliance with environmental management and systems. · Maintain a busy...
