Classification Title: Maintenance Generalist III Classification Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and four years of relevant experience. Appropriate vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Job Description: Perform general maintenance or preventative maintenance for residence hall facilities Responsible for completion of basic tasks within multiple skilled trades (Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, HVAC/Mechanical, or Roofing) Provide leadership to on-site staff and assist with coordinating daily workflow Assist in maintaining inventory of materials, supplies, tools and/or equipment throughout area of responsibility; ensure organized workstations and storage closets with necessary materials as directed Perform other duties as assigned, including special tasks or projects - Input and process work order requests utilizing web-based work order management system. - Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. - Maintain and repair machines, equipment, or devices to access, remove, and repair defective parts using hoists, hand tools, or power tools. - Perform routine and prev...
