Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Youth Engagement Services Clinical Coordinator, assists with bringing together local system partners i.e. schools, police, MDHHS, Purchase of Service Agencies for Foster Care and Primary Care Physicians, with the goals of: Increasing access points and mechanisms related to getting unidentified youth at risk of suicide, substance use and other disorders linked to appropriate treatment, triaging behavioral health needs and linking to appropriate referral source. Provide Prevention activities for youth, parents and community partners, including: youth skill-based groups in the community, internal and external training that may include topics such as suicide prevention (QPR), accessing services for mental health, and other youth behavioral health related topics. Participates in community fairs, events and other outreach related activities as related to youth behavioral health navigation. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/ subunit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI mission, policies and procedures.
