Location: Geisinger Community Medical Center (GCMC) Shift: Days (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Worker Type: Regular Exemption Status: No Job Summary: The pharmacy technician works as an extension of the pharmacist, performing duties related to patient, provider, and customer care. The technician is a certified technician who has more responsibility with care activities which include (but not limited to) preparing patient specific medications for distribution, interacting with non-pharmacist health professionals to coordinate patient medication services, and interacting with patients to collect information for pharmacists. Job Duties: Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
