#internal #LI-DNI Independent Chair – Pride in Place Neighbourhood Board Sparkbrook North (Voluntary Role): An Independent Neighbourhood Chair is now being recruited to lead Sparkbrook North’s new community-led board as part of the Pride in Place Programme. The Chair will work closely with residents, the local MP, and community organisations to ensure that local voices are heard and reflected in future investment and priorities. This is a unique opportunity to provide strategic leadership to a long-term, place-based initiative focused on strengthening communities and creating a thriving neighbourhood. Each board will oversee community engagement, shape a shared local vision, and guide the future investment into each of the respective areas. The recruitment process is being led by the local MP, supported by Birmingham City Council. The Role: The Independent Chair will act as a trusted, impartial leader , bringing together residents, voluntary and community organisations, businesses, and public-sector partners around a shared vision for Sparkbrook North.
