Kitchen Services Worker I - Taunton State Hospital - Continuous Posting 2600020M Description: ** This is an open and continuous posting for full-time (40 hours) positions. ** Taunton State Hospital is a seeking a candidate to join our Dietary Department to serve food to patients and maintain sanitary standards and practices by cleaning and washing equipment in the work area. Please Note : The incumbent will work 40 hours per week on day shift. The days off and hours, are to be determined. Schedules: Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive): - 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. - 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. - Serves hot or cold food on the tray line and at mealtimes to patients and staff to ensure a correct meal service to clients per policy. - Prepares cold food by setting items on the tray line to be held at proper temperature to comply with department protocol. - Prepares food for special diets by following instructions on dieting cards. - Cleans areas used for preparing, serving and cleaning food and food and food service equipment after each meal to comply with department protocol. - Cleans floors by sweeping and washing using appropriate supplies and eq...
