Inventory Intern

Job description

This is a summer internship for the inventory department at Fernwood Communities. The intern will be responsible for maintaining administrative and operational areas of the inventory, with major emphasis on control and record keeping. We have an exciting opportunity to learn about procurement and inventory! The pay rate for this role is $18/hour and the typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p. QUALIFICATIONS: Please be advised that ALL new hires will be required to successfully complete a criminal background investigation and a medical examination, which includes a drug screening, prior to employment . The receipt of satisfactory responses to reference requests, and the provision of satisfactory proof of an applicant's identity and legal authority to work in the United States are also required . - Keep records of items entering or leaving the stockroom and inspect for damage. - Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment owned by the management company. - Sort, organize, and mark items with identifying code. - Coordinate all shipments by outside vendors. - Print all orders and send to warehouse as needed extend orders for shipment. - Receive, unpack, check, store, and track m...
