Financial Risk Officer – FR/BSR Integrated Process Control (IPC) The Financial Risk (FR) department sets and controls the financial risk strategy across the bank by living its purpose of safeguarding ING’s financial health. The department provides strategic guidance on financial risk (in banking and trading books and in relation to the ING balance sheet), in line with regulatory compliance and acts as risk manager for Treasury activities globally. The Balance Sheet Risk (BSR) department (Tribe) within FR, looks after the risks in the entire Bank’s balance sheet. The department covers all financial related risks and contributes to the optimisation of positions on the balance sheet based on Regulatory and Economic Capital. FR/BSR includes an Integrated Process Control (IPC) chapter looking after the integrated processes in financial and control risk activities overarching to Financial Risk. IPC coordinates firm-wide and departmental change initiatives on processes and controls overarching to Financial Risk including the set-up and definition of global data and infrastructure strategy and related control framework for FR.
