The successful candidate is accountable for leading and integrating the permitting, environmental management, ranching, and community relations functions in support of exploration activities, mining operations, and long-term business continuity. The role provides direction, governance, and oversight to ensure regulatory compliance, responsible land stewardship, effective stakeholder engagement, and alignment with company sustainability commitments. Through close collaboration with operations and functional leaders, the Head of Sustainability ensures that land use, permitting, and community considerations are embedded into planning and decision-making, risks are proactively managed, and relationships with communities and Tribal Nations are built on trust, transparency, and accountability—supporting the US Sites' social license and long-term value creation.
