Senior Powerhouse Technician - University Hospital

Job description

Operates, repairs, meters, documents, and performs preventive maintenance needs of the complex mission critical systems of the powerhouse within the facility. Including but not limited to pumps, mechanical equipment, steam boilers, generators, pumps, steam turbines, distillers, water softeners, chillers, cooling towers and other auxiliary equipment to provide utility services. Works under highly stressful scenarios as it relates to the mission critical operation and safety of the plant. Coordinates or leads project plans when necessary. Trains colleagues on various skills and tasks. Acts as a resource or mentor to colleagues and provides general leadership to the team. Performs other related duties as assigned. With 15 hospitals, including seven with Magnet designation and eight with Pathways to Excellence designation, our team members are leading the way through excellence. - High School Diploma/GED is required.
