Job Summary: The Specimen Management Associate 2 supports the receipt, storage, shipment, and inventory control of clinical specimens while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and quality. This role also provides guidance to entry-level staff and serves as a point of contact for routine troubleshooting. What You’ll Be Doing: - Accession, store, ship, and manage clinical specimens ensuring accurate identification, labeling, and documentation - Maintain freezer systems and specimen inventory in accordance with internal procedures - Identify errors or potential issues and escalate to senior staff as appropriate - Guide entry-level staff on department procedures and support onboarding activities - Respond to after-hours alarms and perform other job-critical support functions - Handle receipt of compounds and control materials as required by fu...
