Job description
SUMMARY: Responsible for supporting the manufacturing process via troubleshooting, diagnostic, and corrective steps in the repair of parts, components, and systems. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs): - Schedule attainment on Projects - Predetermined quantity of CR’s - Predetermined quantity of Safety Observations and or Kaizens ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Analyzes malfunctions or deviations and assists with the appropriate corrective actions. - Removes and installs parts; disassembles and assembles components; and tests and adjusts assemblies with minimal supervision. Tests and verifies correct operation of all repairs and adjustments. - Provides feedback to production/assembly regarding repair issues to prevent further malfunction/defects in the assembly process. Ensures that established quality standards are upheld. - Performs repairs in a timely manner to ensure that units are put back online for additional assembly and final inspection. - Completes all necessary documentation and follows up as required in a timely, orderly manner. - Responsible for a variety of tasks involving inspecting, evaluating, and repairing units from the field.
