Open Rank Clinical Practice Faculty Position, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine

Description The University of Washington (UW), Department of Pediatrics is currently recruiting for up to two positions at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank, on the Clinical Practice Track. Specific rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications as generally described in UW’s Faculty Code Section 24-34 . Positions are available beginning in Summer 2025; a specific start date is negotiable. In addition to clinical work, teaching, scholarship, and service are integral to all Clinical Practice positions. The initial appointment period will be three years, at a minimum, with eligibility for renewal thereafter. Faculty on the clinical practice track hold multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Clinical Practice track appointments are not eligible for tenure.
