A Child Care Teacher Aide assists the Center Director or a Teacher in implementing activities for a group of children. A Teacher Aide must meet California licensing requirements. A Teacher may also be responsible for the supervision of a Teacher Aide. The Teacher Aide must meet all the Title 22 licensing requirements for an aide in school age center. The Teacher Aide position will be assigned to work at a school location. The Teacher Aide must meet all requirements to be on campus issued by federal, state, county and city government authorities. Due to the direct supervision and ratio requirements outlined by the State of California, this position will not have an option to work from home during program operational hours. SALARY RANGE: $22.00-$24.00/hour: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Work with Teachers to develop age appropriate activities for children. - Work with Teachers to supervise children while maintaining ratios that meet requirements for Title 22. - Meet and greet all children and parents daily. - Help maintain a clean and well organized facility. - Attend all staff meetings and all training events. - Work as a team member of the child care center and the YMCA. - Follow all YMCA...
