This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for a System Operator III (Lead Operator, Quality Assurance/Quality Control) for our Long Island City, NY office. Be involved in projects with our Mobility Operations Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges: Your Impact - Be responsible for reviewing systems at Joint Transportation Management Center (JTMC), and electronic media outlets that utilize and redistribute JTMC data, for Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) data quality assurance - Establish document handling and storage procedures for ITS data and material related to the JTMC - Monitor 511NY to ensure accuracy of incident, roadwork, special event entries, as well as variable message board (VMS) messaging - Review incidents entered into the T-Rex to ensure accuracy and compliance with NYSDOT procedures - Mentor and train new staff as needed. - Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures - Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, saf...
