Overview Job Summary The hide pattern trimmer is the process of trimming unusable areas of the hide to specific hide pattern. The hide pattern trimmer will use a knife to remove the faceplate, knee area, tail, and udder/ cod of the hide. Key Responsibilities: - Trim faceplate keeping square cheek area - Open shanks and trim knee - Open tail and trim square - Trim teats and fat stringers - NOTE: this description is not intended to be all inclusive. An employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization; these duties are considered marginal. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications (Required): - Must be 18 years of age or older. - Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship. - Must be able to work in a humid, hot, wet, slippery, or moving surface at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Preferred Qualifications: - Previous experience/knowledge of manufacturing environment. - Previous heavy machinery experience in manufacturing environment. - Previous agriculture production/ beef plant experience.
