Hourly Pay Range: $17.00 - $23.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: - Position: Patient Safety Observer Virtual - Location: Chicago, IL - Full Time - 36 hours per week - Hours: Days (7p-7:30a); rotating weekends and holidays required - Required Travel: May float to inpatient units as a bedside patient safety observer A Brief Overview: Monitors patients remotely via video monitor or at the bedside to ensure patient safety while under observation. Provides continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients. First line of action is to verbally redirect the patient from engaging in at-risk behaviors. Summons the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance. Knowledgeable and supportive of patient and institutional confidentiality and related hospital policies.
