Description Personal Care Assistant - PCA: Part-Time or Full-Time: Private duty caregiver: Pay Rate: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour DOE Sign On Bonus: $500 (Full-time): Shift: 12-hour shifts: Critical Nurse Staffing provides unparalleled home health care to the American Workforce including Veterans of the United States Armed Services, Workers Compensation Claims, and former energy workers (eligible for in-home care under the Department of Labor’s Office of Workers’ Compensation) who want to remain independent and live in their own homes. The Position: We’re looking for full-time and part-time Personal Care Assistant's. We work 12-hour shifts, in the patient's home. - Follows the Plan of Care to provide safe, competent care/services to the patient. - Help the patient maintain good personal hygiene and assists in maintaining a healthy, safe environment. - Plan and prepare nutritious meals. - Assist the patient with ambulation as detailed by Patient Care Plan. - Encourage the patient's independence but not exceed their capabilities outlined out in the Patient's Care Plan. - Performs routine housekeeping tasks. - Other duties as assigned.
