Date Published: 03/24/2024 REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to: Environmental Services Manager: GENERAL SUMMARY: Works under the supervision of the Environmental Services Manager. The Housekeeper's primary job function is repetitive cleaning tasks in maintaining assigned area in an attractive, orderly and sanitary condition according to established procedures. While performing the duties of this, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, push/pull equipment, use arm, leg and back muscles for extended periods, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb, stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more. Perform other duties as assigned. Education: Licensure: Experience: - Basic Literary Skills required - None - None Interpersonal Skills: - Ability to interact with visitors and all levels of hospital personnel in a professional and courteous manner.
