As the Commodity Manager in Cluj-Napoca you will lead the development and execution of strategic sourcing strategies for metals and raw materials, with a strong focus on copper, aluminum, steel, and other key commodities. You will shape Emerson’s long‑term commodity roadmap, build global supplier networks, manage market and pricing risks, and drive sustainability and cost‑optimization initiatives across the supply chain. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Lead the development and execution of multi‑year sourcing strategies for metals and raw materials (copper, aluminum, steel, nickel), including market analysis on LME/COMEX/SHFE and macroeconomic risk evaluation. Develop cost models, pricing structures, indexation formulas, and hedging approaches to manage cost, volatility, and long‑term supply security. Drive supplier negotiations, contracts, performance management, and improvement programs, ensuring alignment with quality, delivery, sustainability, and compliance requirements (REACH, RoHS, ESG, LKSG).
