Department: 36317 Advocate Lutheran General Hospital - CT Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: No Hou rs Per Week: 8 Schedule Details/Additional Information: 8 hours a week Pay Range: $20.80 - $31.20 Major Responsibilities: - Supports imaging technologists with preparation of patient and examination room prior to, during, and following imaging procedures in accordance with established infection control practices. Organizes and prepares exam rooms and work areas, including cleaning, stocking, and maintaining equipment. - Verifies patient identification using two identifiers and communicates with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, confirm acknowledgment of patients' understanding and address any questions about the imaging procedure. - Assists patient in preparation for exam and transferring patients to and from exam rooms. Independently transports patients to other areas of the facility as required. - Uses the radiology computer systems to generate requisitions, check schedules, and obtain pertinent patient information. - Reviews patients medical record to obtain necessary clinical information including patient history, lab results, and physician orders, obtain...
