Description Dean of Scholars: Marana, Arizona, 2026/2027 School Year SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the Principal, the Dean of Scholars works closely with the school administrative team to establish and maintain a safe and positive learning environment by serving as an instructional leader in the planning, coordination and administration of school activities and programs. The Dean of scholars works to ensure scholars have a positive and safe school environment, and that they succeed academically and socially. The Dean of Scholars employs relational discipline methodology to provide support to scholars who need additional behavioral support, following Leman Academy’s Character Attributes, in alignment with Leman Academy’s Mission and Philosophy, and outlined in the Family Handbook. Line of Authority/Reports to: Principal/Site Administration Works with: Assistant Principals and Vice Principals. The Dean of Students will work alongside Counselors, Social Workers, ESS Teachers and General Ed Teachers. QUALIFICATIONS/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor’s degree is required.
