Job Description: Analytical Mechanics Associates (AMA) is currently accepting applications to meet an upcoming demand for Aerospace Thermal Engineers to support the Structural and Thermal Systems Branch (STSB) at NASA Langley Research Center. These positions are expected to be onsite in Hampton, VA. Requirements: Demonstrated use of Thermal Desktop and documenting the analysis, present/report findings, guide design and manufacturing, and verifying results using testing. Models may vary from Ground Support Equipment (GSE) or test fixturing to flight vehicles or satellites. Experience with Python programming or similar. Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite of tools. The candidate must have demonstrated experience documenting reports, and technical memos in both Microsoft Word and PowerPoint and presenting findings to internal NASA groups, designers, project leadership, and customers at project meetings, branch meetings, and design reviews as requested by project managers. Desired Experience: Experience in performing Structural, Thermal and Optical Performance (STOP) analysis.
