Manager, IFRS Technical Accounting ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: The IFRS Technical Accounting Manager is a key member of the Group Financial Reporting team, responsible for delivering expert-level IFRS technical accounting analysis and guidance on complex and material accounting matters. This role involves providing guidance to business teams on the impact of proposed commercial transactions as well as leading and supporting strategic financial projects such as impairment assessments, mergers and acquisitions, and the implementation of new IFRS standards. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide and present in-depth IFRS accounting analysis and technical position papers concerning material and complex transactions and contracts, including ongoing commercial matters, M&A activities and other significant commercial matters to SES senior leaders. - Coordinate and prepare high-quality consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with all disclosure requirements and completion of supporting documentation (e.g. IFRS disclosure checklists). - Manage the preparation, review, and follow-up of technical accounting position papers with both internal and external auditors, ensuring alignment...
