Job description

Requirements: This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only. - Hours: Monday- Thursday 5:00p-10:30p Friday 2:00p-7:30p - This position will be responsible for multiple tasks relating to trouble shooting, lubricating and preventive maintenance of all facility equipment. - Prepare written documentation of actions taken to correct equipment problems. - Responds to mechanical or electrical breakdowns and handle emergency situations. - Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule. - Complete appropriate paperwork and reports - Must comply with lockout/ tagout, confined space, and all other safety programs. - Capable of starting all equipment before production startup and shutdown without supervision - Ability to assist with other mechanics as needed. - Perform other duties as assigned. - Must be able to understand and agree to follow Safety Rules. Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Ability to adhere to Tyson Foods' safety policies and procedures. - Work in temperature that will vary with outside ambient temperatures and humidity.
