Department Overview This position reports to (supervisor): Chair, Dept of Neurology and Head, Section of Headache The Headache Center is a recent addition to The Department of Neurology in 2016. The Center provides care for patients with headache and facial pain. Patients can be seen in our multidisciplinary clinic staffed by a neurologist and an orofacial pain specialist. The Center has a robust procedure clinic where occipital nerve block, trigger point injection and Botulinum toxin injection are provided. Additionally, for patients with documented intracranial hypertension, ocular ultrasounds are offered to monitor optic nerve sheath diameter (an indirect marker for intracranial pressure). Function/Duties of Position: The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the University's missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service. Appointee shall have a demonstrated competence in patient care and teaching/mentorship.
