Facilitates the development, implementation, and maintenance of systems and workflows. Ensures costs, including labor, pharmaceutical, supply, and other expenses are within budget. Performs duties of a managing pharmacist in accordance with all federal and state regulations and accreditation and certification requirements. Performs all duties of a clinical community pharmacist. Job Responsibilities and Requirements: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Supervises staff, students and residents as assigned which may include: recruitment, orientation, training, performance management, staff development, counseling, disciplining, scheduling, payroll and conducting staff meetings. Serves as a resource to the pharmacy team in the provision of pharmacy services. Works collaboratively with pharmacy leadership to set performance standards for the pharmacy department and maintain pharmacy staff engagement. Evaluates and counsels staff on their performance.
