Job description
Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary: With direction from the Zone Manager and Working Supervisor, the Mechanic works with a team of multi-craft mechanics to provide routine and emergency HVAC and multi-craft maintenance for campus buildings. Additionally, the Mechanic works closely with internal customers including students, faculty and staff to resolve maintenance issues and work orders. Typical craft-specific work includes, but is not limited to, the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC equipment and systems using a variety of diagnostic tools such as DDC (Johnson Controls, multi-meter, drawings, etc.). Multi-craft maintenance activities may include working with various plumbing systems, basic electrical work, carpentry, and painting. Job Description: Primary Duties & Responsibilities: - Maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing a variety of HVAC systems including hydronic, DX, heat pumps, large air handlers, roof top units, CRAC, packaged and split systems, makeup and fresh air systems, and exhaust.
