Description The Institute for Carbon Removal Law and Policy (ICRLP) at American University (AU) invites applications for a full-time, postdoctoral researcher to join an ongoing project aimed at better integrating carbon removal into the Global Change Analysis Model (GCAM). This appointment is a one-year position and will commence on or around January 15, 2021 and run through January 15, 2022. A later start date is negotiable, and all ICRLP staff are currently working remotely. The project team is led by Dr. David Morrow and currently includes one other postdoctoral researcher who is working on the project full time. The team has been working to increase the variety of approaches to carbon removal that can be represented in GCAM as well as enhance GCAM’s ability to model relevant policies.
