Employment Type: Full time Shift: Evening Shift Description: Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Medical Technologist to join our team! Schedule: Evening Shift, 3:30pm-12am: A Medical Technologist conducts diagnostic laboratory tests that are important in detecting, analyzing and treating a wide variety of diseases and medical conditions. A medical Technologist uses microscopes, chemicals, precision tools, analyzers and computer equipment to perform tests that give doctors and patients detailed information about various conditions, including the progress and prognosis of the patient. A Medical Technologist performs standard laboratory procedures consistently providing high quality patient care. A Medical Technologist is able to work independently in assigned areas (Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Microbiology).
