Leidos has a job opening beginning in the Spring/Summer of 2026 for a Mechanical Engineer Intern/Co-Op in Reston, VA. Work will consist of a range of project tasks to include: 3D modeling, simulation, and visualization. Tasks also include integration and implementation of commercial off-the-shelf products. Primary Responsibilities :​: Receive assignments in the form of objectives and establish goals to meet outlined objectives. Create 3D models of various facilities, equipment, systems and sub-systems using CAD applications such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks and other applications. Basic Qualifications: Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or directly related field. The student must be willing/able to take a semester off to work through the Fall (June-December) semester. Minimum 3.0 GPA. Please note your GPA on your resume when submitting your application.
