The Campus Safety and Resource Officer is the first line ambassador to the community, providing various services, offering assistance and direction and ensuring that campus facilities are safe and secure by controlling access , documenting those who enter and monitoring , responding to emergencies and reporting all security , safety and operational concerns . Primary/Principal Responsibilities: Reporting to the shift supervisor, the duties of the Campus Safety and Resource Officer include but are not limited to: - Acting as a first-line representative and ambassador of the university when encountering and greeting members of the university community including students, faculty, staff, alumni, invited guests , vendors and members of the general public . This includes: - Greeting each person who enters a university facility in a friendly and welcoming manner. - Providing high-touch , support and assistance to community members including: - Providing directions and relevant information to assist community members and guests with wayfinding. - Providing general university information including operating hours, contact information , and other general university information to the commun...
