Section 1: Position Summary: The DevOps Architect role is positioned between the Program Architect and the Principal DevOps Engineer and is responsible for providing technical direction and oversight of the application engineering/DevOps practices across scrum teams within a program. DevOps Architect works closely with Program Architects and Application Architects to understand business needs and provides strategic and tactical directions for specific initiatives. Promotes DevOps culture by examining the big picture, applying agile mindset and modern DevOps tools to accelerate the overall software deliver, promotes innovation, alternative solutions, reusability, stability, scalability, and consistency across programs.
