The Virginia Veterinary Center in Short Pump, VA is hiring a part- time Veterinary Assistant to join our ER team! 2 12 hour shifts Compensation: Based on experience & skill set. Starting at $20/hr! - 12p-12a - Every Saturday and Sunday - Holiday coverage as needed. (You will be required to work some holidays but not all) Position Overview: - The Veterinary Assistant carries out assigned duties and is adaptable to changes in the work pattern. As a Veterinary Assistant, your job entails important aspects of our hospital: patient care and treatment, client service, and hospital cleanliness. Qualifications: Based on employee interest, Veterinary Assistant Certification and/or Licensed Veterinary Technician Program Financial assistance may be available.
