Learn more about American University Department: Development College of Arts and Sciences Time Type: Full time Job Type: Regular FLSA Status: Exempt Work Modality: Hybrid 01 (On Campus 3-4 Days/Week) Union: Excluded Summary: The Assistant Director of Development at the College of Arts and Sciences is a member of the CAS development team and is responsible for the cultivation, solicitation, and renewal of gifts to the school ($50,000+), identification of CAS major gift prospects, discovery visits in the DMV area, assistance with the planning and execution of strategic CAS development events, and logistical and administrative support. In addition, the Assistant Director may be called upon to assist with CAS-specific alumni relations activities, including but not limited to acknowledgements, invitations, and mailings.
