Job description

Job responsibilities: Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems. - Author and optimize queries for performance and correctness. - Monitor and tune database performance, including query tuning, indexing, partitioning, and caching. - Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability for database systems. - Support production incidents and perform root cause analysis; participate in on-call rotations. - Assist application teams with data access patterns, migrations, and release planning. - Engage technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose data architecture approaches to meet current and future needs. - Evaluate recommendations for new technologies and provide actionable feedback. - Execute creative data architecture solutions, including design, development, and technical troubleshooting, with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems. - Develop secure, high-quality production code; review and debug code written by others.
