Fabricator - Welder (Night Shift)

Job Responsibilities: At our Denver facility, we are looking for a night shift welder who will be reading and interpreting design blueprints. Preparing fabrication and welding for various metal components and structures. CF&I Recycling is committed to maintaining and promoting a safe, healthy and injury-free environment. It is required for all jobs. - Receives instructions, drawings, and work orders for assigned jobs. - Interprets drawings and sketches and plans work procedures, tools, and material requirements. - Selects materials appropriate for each job. - Lays out work, prepares sketches, and determines required stock sizes. - Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded as required. - Sets up, assembles, and tack-welds parts, constructing special fixtures as needed. - Performs gas and electric welding in all positions (downhand, vertical, overhead, etc.). - Builds up worn or defective parts. - Cleans, grinds, and flame-anneals parts and welded joints as required...
