Do you love working on vehicles or GSE? What about working around airplanes? Well, Executive Aviation is looking for a full-time GSE Mechanic to work on our Ground Service Equipment, based at the Kelowna Airport (YLW). This person would enjoy working alongside our full-time GSE Technician, would report directly to the General Manager in Kelowna, with direction from the Western Regional Support Technician . They would coordinate and complete all PMI objectives as well as prioritizing, diagnosing, and fixing GSE or vehicle repairs for the base, or other bases as needed. This person would be expected to travel for PMI or maintenance repairs to bases in our network and have on-call responsibilities. The Role: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of all systems associated with work equipment (mechanical, electrical and hydraulic) Evaluate parts for reuse, repair or replacement Use various hand and power tools Operates equipment such as overhead or mobile cranes and forklifts to assist in assignments Investigate and locate equipment problems and take corrective action in order to minimize the impact on crew production Adapts to new methods, processes, material and equipment Pr...
