STORAGE MECHANIC: JOB SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for completing a variety of tasks associated with the safe operation of various components and equipment associated with our high-pressure natural gas Storage and Transmission assets. This role will work in a team environment as well as have individual assignments. This role will be required to certify after a designated training period and will become enrolled into the union after 30 days. Starting Hourly Salary: $32.74: SOME BASIC TASKS SHALL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: •Operate facilities in a safe and efficient manner to meet production/throughput requirements, including starting and stopping of reciprocating and centrifugal engines and compressors. •Repair liquid centrifugal pumps and positive displacement pumps. •Properly, legibly and accurately record all equipment and operational data as required. •Inspect, repair, adjust and reset pressure regulators, relief valves, level controllers and shutdown devices on rotating equipment as needed. •Routinely inspect, operate and grease pumps, valves, motors and bearings as needed. •Repair or replacement of electric motors, shafts, and bearings in overh...
