Overview POSITION SUMMARY The Network Administrator assumes responsibility for the oversight of the organization's computer systems and database networks, ensuring appropriate maintenance and security protocols are upheld. This encompasses the planning, development, installation, configuration, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. The Network Administrator plays an essential role in guaranteeing the stability and integrity of voice, data, video, and wireless network services, serving as the primary resource for planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the enterprise. This individual will also diagnose and resolve network performance issues, in addition to analyzing network traffic and formulating capacity planning solutions. The Network Administrator is tasked with the timely and accurate analysis and resolution of wireless local area network (WLAN) hardware and software deficiencies, and is expected to provide end-user instruction as required.
